  1. Anyone planning to head up this Sunday to help out? This weekend is clear since there are no club rides or otherwise. Mike
  2. Directions to Joe's House: we discussed on the phone, the run will be Sunday October 17th, registration will begin at 7 am, we will head over to the site around 6 am. To get to my house, take 81 North to exit 230, Great Bend, Hallstead Exit. Make a right off the exit onto Route 171. Follow 171 for 2.5 miles to Hasbrouck HeightsRoad (or State Route 1027) you will make a left onto Hasbrouck Heights, follow that road for 2.5 miles, my house is on the right, the mailbox is marked 2452. Anyone wishing to stay Saturday night, we can support at least 6 people in the house, and we have plenty of space for anyone that would like to pitch a tent / camper. Food and fun(bonfire) the night before for everyone! If anyone has any questions feel free to give them my contact info or call me at 570.879.4969.
  3. Im sure the chef can weld you up a nice rollcage. Went to check my brake pads before the SSRT ride and discovered my rear bearings are worn. So looks like a little work before the weekend is in order. Got them chilling in the freezer right now. Mike
  4. Tell the chef to put some weight in your wheels and that should keep you upright. Mike
  5. Just got an email that the parts shipped out last Friday, quicker then I thought. Also they show the parts are in stock now. Mike
  6. I get the Sportsman guide and saw they advertised a Grip-on 3000lb ATV winch for $100! This includes a wireless remote control. (plus the regular handlebar switch) Next to it a universal winch mount for 1.24 and 2 inch receivers. Winch direct link. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=683963 Winch mount to receiver. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=683962 Not sure how good a quality the winch is but for the price this opens up the idea of making a removable rear-mounted winch that can be slapped into the receiver. No need to wire the switch as it has the wireless control. The downside is these items are back ordered. I ordered them and it said its not expected in until September 7th. I just clicked on the cart and now it says July 23rd. So maybe ill get them sooner. Total cost with shipping for both items came to $131.43 (but I also have their club discount) Just wanted to pass this along if anyone is looking for a winch. Mike
  7. Last year the gauge on my SUV acted up and would only read between half and full all the time. Just did this out of the blue and did not go away. I dumped the Techron in and about two weeks later it cleared up and has not acted up since. This was about a year ago. The sending unit apparently gets fouled by the sulfur and/or the ethanol additives in the gas. My Arctic cat gauge got so bad at one point the Techron would not fix it and it had to be replaced. At least it was only $70. The symptoms were similar. Would read full sitting, but as soon as you ride it would drop to empty. Mike
  8. Good idea to make this its own board. No doubt we will need this for several threads of discussions and this will keep it all in one area. Mike
  9. I sent out all the sponsor renewals along with all the member renewals at the same time. So far only one sponsor has renewed for 2010. (Jim Murray's Kawasaki) I have not heard from any of the others. These were our sponsors for 2009 F.W.M. Volunteer Fire Company Majestic Kamp & Lost Trails Inc Rider's World Rusty Palmer, Inc AJ Lupas Insurance Agency Inc Cbxmanmotorcycles.com Advance Cycle Services Jim Murray's Kawasaki Mike
  10. Agreed, take it down. I posted a few pictures I took of the party. Mike
  11. The food was excellent and everyone had plenty to eat. 2009 was a great year, had a lot of good rides. Everyone's contribution to this club is what makes it what it is. Mike
  12. Michelle and I will be attending Mike
  13. Thanks. If a member is not registered on the web site that is ok. The list includes the family names associated with the members name. I didn't show that field in the posting. There are some cases where a family name is registered to the site, so this way it reflects that that person has club member access. Most other cases, the family members are not registered on the site. What we are trying to do is to make sure that only club members have access to the whole site and not just someone who comes along and registers. A non-club member only sees the top topics only. Mike
  14. This is what I have on file, sorry if pasting it here it gets mangled up. If your not listed here please post it so I can update my records. Unfortunately the web site doesn't track this.
