I got my boxes all figured out. Tomorrow morning I'll get them mounted and also put on the other add on's. I still haven't gotten my rear speedrack but I can make due without out it for now. Can't wait to get it all set up and ready for the first ride on Sunday. My wife is even looking forward to it. I just hope I can keep the rubber on the trail...

Den,
How are you mounting your box's on the front rack? are you using the speedrack? I saw an attacment that you can mount on any box that will make it work with the speedrack, is that what you are using?

Thanks
Bob

Got her all set up today Thanks to the Chef. I'd be lost without him so you guy's better take care of him... He knows his s***t when it comes to atv's camping and many other tasks. All loaded up and ready for the first trial run tomorrow. NWORC is the perfect testing ground too. So wish me luck on my first ride on the cat.... :sport:

Well the first ride out on the new Cat was spectacular to say the least. The power steering ate all the feed back through the handle bars and made steering a breeze. The independent suspension made me think I was driving on pavement all day. This is my first automatic transmission so it took me about 10 feet to get used to that and wonder why I ever owned a semi auto. Due to the length ( 96.6) and width it is the most stable quad I've ever ridden. The rear seating is very comfortable. My wife loved it and I tested it out myself while she was driving.... It has great mud and water protection. We rode all day through water and mud and didn't get a drop on us. The 550cc has more then enough power to take on any incline. The only thing I had to adjust today was my hand guards and my drink holder. If I had to list any negitives it would be that the engine is a bit louder then my Suzuki and you get a glare from the instrument pannel at times. Al in all it I was very impressed with the entire proformance of the Cat. This weekend I'll have it out on a solo trip without the rear seat and passenger to see how it handles with just me and my gear. Stay tuned more reviews to follow...*****....

Glad to hear the machine worked out well for you. Better get your cup holder straightened out quick; wouldnt want to spill your coffee. I think the 550 range is a good size machine for probably 75% of use. Welcome to the automatic and IRS world.

Where you heading out with it this weekend?

Good luck with the fender extensions I give you at least 3 months before they are ripped off. I like the idea of the recoil though.

Picked up the fender extensions today from Mtn. Bob. Had them on in about an hour. They were easy to install and look great. I just hope they hold up. If I can keep the tires on the ground I should be ok...

Next addition is a rear bumper. Easy install just 4 bolts. I think she's all tricked out now. Got all the add on's that I need. Now all I have to do is find time to ride... :dunno:
