  1. Happy New year everyone
  2. One this we should discuss at the next meeting is we want to try to get more sponsors for the club. As of now we only have one sponsor, Cube Auto Supply. If members know of any dealers or other ATV related business perhaps we should try to add more sponsors? Mike
  3. Moved it to here since club meetings are open to the public. The meeting also may be held downstairs due to the pool league. Mike
  4. Have to wait for Bob or Karen to report. Larry posted pictures online, looked like a good time as always.
  5. Beginning in Spring of 2019, the Bureau of State Parks will be conducting a Pilot Program at the Lyman Run State Park Lower Campground. Starting on the Friday before Memorial Day through the last Sunday in September, campers using campsites in the Lower Campground will be able to drive ATV’s on the campground road. This will provide direct access to the Susquehannock State Forest ATV trail system at the Lyman Trailhead, located 3/4 mile from the campground up Lyman Run Road. Lyman Run Road is a township road that is open to ATV traffic. This pilot program will run for two seasons starting in 2019 through 2020, after which it will be evaluated. All operators must possess a valid Driver’s License to drive on the campground road and make the connection to the trailhead from Lyman Run Road. DCNR ATV Riding Rules and Regulations will apply, and can be found at: http://www.dcnr.pa.gov/Recreation/WhatToDo/ATVRiding/RidingRulesandEnforcement/Pages/default.a spx With the opening of the Bureau of Forestry's Susquehannock ATV Trail, this is a reminder that the Daggett Campground Road, Lower Campground Road and Day Use Area to include parking lots are not designated as Joint Use roads and therefore are not permitted for ATV use. The Lyman Lake Dam breast parking area is open for ATV parking so users may utilize the beach, beach house restrooms, and the beach concession. For more information please click on the "ATV Riding" link at the top of the page or goto http://www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateForests/FindAForest/Susquehannock/Pages/ATVRiding.aspx for more information.

  7. Copied from facebook: To all who knows and loves Potato City, it is with a heavy heart that we say we are closing the doors on April 24th 2018! It has been a tough decision! We love our customers who are more like family than patrons! Being a independent business owner is hard work. With the decline in all seasonal business. It is time! Potato city is iconic and has history in our community. Our strength will go on and memories cherished!! Please know the decision was not made lightly and is filled with heartache! Bittersweet. We hope our loyal customers, our potato city family and friends will visit us before the final dish and drink are served to bid farewell, write a note in our memory book, and take a pic or 3!!! There will be an auction at Potato City! Date to be announced! We are looking forward to much earned and deserved time off and will stay in touch! Thank you all so much!! Been a great ride !! Ron & Jennifer

  9. Already got to try out the 4WD in it, works great I can knock down the second and third row seats so it will have lots of room. Too cold right now to mess with it. Once the weather breaks, ill be setting it up. Mike
  10. It was time. The trailblazer served well as a towing vehicle and without it, I would never be able to tow our Jumping Jack. It was starting to get too many issues (such as the chicken bbq where the power steering went out) so it was time to replace it. Decided to bite the bullet, (ok a BIG bullet) and purchase a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe LS. This is the base model, even so it has so much electronic gadgets, its going to take some getting used to. Looking around for a late model used vehicle the prices are close to new, I decided to just go new. Now we have more cargo room and more then enough towing capacity. Mike
  11. Happy New year everyone Mike
  12. Merry Christmas everyone!
  13. For those who are not members of this club, it is a worthwhile club to join as they are the ones driving the expansion of riding in Central PA. Attached is the application for membership. Mike CMATVA_Application_2017_11_17.pdf
  14. I got enough leftovers for a week!
  15. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
  16. Found this kit to upgrade the headlights on the Alterra. This takes the same bulbs as the 366 and prior to finding this kit, there wasn't an option for an upgrade because the bulb is a combination hi/low. $100 for the kit. These are 3x brighter then stock lights and use about 1/2 the power. Mike
  17. Michelle got a new quad today, 2017 Arctic Cat Alterra 400. Keeping the 366 is a backup machine. Great deals going on new machines, Picked this up for $4,500, added winch and handwarmers The winch has synthetic cable for the price of standard cable. Couldn't turn that down Mike
  18. After 10 years and over 16,000 miles, I finally sold my first quad. Last ride on it was yesterday at Lost Trails. It was sold for parts. Mike
  19. How far is it and about how many miles of trails do they have? Mike
  20. Happy Easter everyone
